 Bláithín O' Reilly Murphy, Wedding Planner and Author

Bláithín O’ Reilly Murphy is a Wedding Consultant & Author with over 8 years’ experience in the Wedding Industry. Until 2009 she ran the successful wedding consultancy Distinctive Weddings, under which she wrote her first wedding book Distinctive Weddings: Tying the Knot without the Rope Burns.  She now divides her time between a select number of Wedding Planning Clients, lecturing to Event Management & PR students, writing the successful blog, Wedding High, travelling in Ireland and Abroad on speaking engagements and on her latest project; ‘The Book More Brides Program’ which is aimed at helping Wedding Professionals do just that! Bláithín is regularly quoted and featured in the media around the world, most notably on E! Online and the bestselling book ‘How to Start Your Own Business’ by Robert Ashton.

OFD Consulting owner, Meghan Ely, combines in-the-trenches event experience with a love of marketing, public relations and the wedding industry to empower her clients to take their businesses to new heights.

Meghan is a regular contributor to national weddng marketing journal WedLock Magazine as well as The Wedding Planner Magazine. She co-authors a monthly column for brides in the Richmond Times Dispatch - Wedology 101: The Realities of Being a Bride, and shares wedding business tips in her own blog - Illuminate: Tips, Tricks and Bright Ideas for the Wedding Professional.

Meghan is a sought-after speaker on a broad range of wedding marketing and wedding PR topics at industry events and conferences. She served as the charter Marketing Director for the Richmond Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and is a proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.  Meghan was recently honored as one of the "Top 40 under 40" by Style Weekly Magazine.

Mita Moody, Owner, Response Solutions Services

 Mita Moody is the owner and founder of RSVP guest!,  a guest tracking service started in 2008, that allows organizers and brides to stay in budget by knowing who is attending their event. Mita boasts over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and customer service training field.

 In combination with her wedding/event services, Mita branched out into the corporate side creating Response Solutions, an event/trade show follow up service, allowing organizations to track their clients that have interest in their service, as well as improve company services with regular call-backs. Mita never thought her college filler classes in business and marketing would become her career, rather than her formal track of education as a marine biologist, but she is thrilled at where her career has taken her.

Mita’s motto and passion is “If you are not in front of your customer… someone else is….” and “be a part of that bride’s budget” RSVP guest! has enjoyed recent press in  local wedding magazines as well as WTVR CBS 6 “Virginia This Morning”.
